Hron River Rafting – upper section<\/h1>\n

\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”35px”][vc_column_text]The section most sought after by paddlers has a few small water structures in store for you, all of which are easy to pass. Local trout, grayling, and huchen will keep you company, and if you stop for a moment and look carefully, you may be lucky enough to spot a river crayfish. In the spring months, the Hron<\/strong> is still a little wild. Heavy rains and melting snow make rafting possible from the village of He\u013epa<\/strong> (river km 255). We recommend it mainly for experienced paddlers. Otherwise, be prepared for a crash course in cold-water hardening. The water is really cold, but it will definitely provide an unforgettable experience.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]The second turning point awaits you near the village of Valask\u00e1<\/strong> in the Chvatimech<\/strong> area (river km 217). The confluence of the \u010cierny Hron<\/strong> is located here. This section can be rafted even at the lowest water level. Straighten up a little, a passage through the village of Podbrezov\u00e1<\/strong> awaits you. In the Lopej<\/strong> area (river km 212), the water has its duties. It works for the local hydroelectric power plant, so it has to circulate constantly up and down. Its job ends in the village of Nemeck\u00e1<\/strong>, in the Dubov\u00e1<\/strong> area (river km 205). In the summer months, it may seem that you will end up on dry land instead of on the river. Never mind. Put the boats on your shoulders and walk a bit.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_single_image image=”10696″ img_size=”1200×675″ qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]Enjoy the third turning point to the fullest. In the village of Nemeck\u00e1<\/strong>, you will find the first campsites and boating equipment rentals. From Nemeck\u00e1, the swift water will carry you all the way to the town of Slia\u010d<\/strong>. It starts in the village of Nemeck\u00e1<\/strong> and continues to \u0160alkov\u00e1<\/strong>. You will enjoy the beautiful nature of the Upper Hron region. In the evening, you will moor the boats on the banks by the guesthouse, where we will prepare a pleasant evening program for you.<\/p>\n

After breakfast, the trip continues to Slia\u010d<\/strong> or Zvolen<\/strong>.
