Hron River Trip – Lower Section<\/h1>\n

For example Hronsk\u00e1 D\u00fabrava, Trnav\u00e1 Hora-Jaln\u00e1, \u017diar nad Hronom, Lov\u010da, Doln\u00e1 \u017dda\u0148a and \u017darnovica, Voznica, Rudno nad Hronom, Hronsk\u00fd Be\u0148adik or Koz\u00e1rovce.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_single_image image=”10914″ img_size=”1200×675″ qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]The lower section of the Hron<\/strong> River is relatively calm and slow. In most places it is shallow, which is why it is a popular tourist destination for families with children or less experienced paddlers.<\/p>\n

On the one hand, you will enjoy plenty of paddling, but on the other hand, you do not have to worry about any river mishaps. Several natural and historical attractions also await you during this trip.<\/p>\n

In the area you can visit Teplica Castle<\/strong> or the local healing spa in Sklen\u00e9 Teplice<\/strong>. For hikers, we have a great tip: Sz\u00e1bova skala<\/strong>, Bralce<\/strong>, Smrk\u00e1\u010dik<\/strong> hill with a lookout, or Dolno\u017ed\u00e1nska skala<\/strong>. For lovers of towns, we offer Nov\u00e1 Ba\u0148a<\/strong> and its historic center. We invite you to Hronsk\u00fd Be\u0148adik<\/strong>, where you will find a well-preserved monastery. None of these historical or hiking sites has an official landing place nearby. If you are still getting acquainted with the Hron, we recommend a short relaxing route that starts in Revi\u0161tsk\u00e9 Podz\u00e1m\u010die<\/strong> near \u017darnovica and ends in Brehy<\/strong>, or starts in Brehy and ends in Koz\u00e1rovce<\/strong>. In both cases, you will cover a maximum of 15 r. km \/ 4 hours.<\/p>\n

From Zvolen to \u0160\u00e1\u0161ovsk\u00e9 Podhradie<\/strong> – 22 r. km \/ 5 \u2013 6 hours
From \u0160\u00e1\u0161ovsk\u00e9 Podhradie to Revi\u0161tsk\u00e9 Podz\u00e1m\u010die<\/strong> \u2013 21 km \/ 4 \u2013 5 hours with the option of extending the route if you start in Trnavsk\u00e1 Hora or in Hronsk\u00e1 D\u00fabrava<\/strong> (at this point it is necessary to carry the boats or use the fish pass).<\/p>\n

You can combine the routes and enjoy a 2-day paddling trip.
