Hron River Rafting<\/h1>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”35px”][vc_column_text]Have you heard the legend of the second largest river in Slovakia<\/strong>? Its mother is Kr\u00e1\u013eova ho\u013ea<\/strong> and its uncle is the Danube<\/strong>. The Hron<\/strong> River was very mischievous in its youth and often troubled the giants who lived in what is now the Bansk\u00e1 Bystrica Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to legend, Prince \u010eumbier<\/strong> advised the giants to direct the Hron<\/strong> into the Danube<\/strong>. Let it see the world and stop constantly hanging around its mother\u2019s skirts. So the giants did not hesitate and got to work. They built a huge iron plough. They pulled the furrow from below Kr\u00e1\u013eova ho\u013ea, through narrows and gorges, between rocks and cliffs. On one side the Low Tatras<\/strong> and on the other Rudohorie<\/strong>. To the right Vt\u00e1\u010dnik<\/strong>. To the left \u0160tiavnica Mountains<\/strong>. It was quite a tough job, but in the end they made it all the way to the Danube itself. It promised to keep an eye on the young Hron and to send greetings from the Black Sea<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On the way back, the giants met the Hron<\/strong>. It stayed nicely in its riverbed and hurried to flood every little crevice waiting for it. It splashed about enthusiastically. The giants were pulling the huge iron plough home. But it was too heavy, so they decided to leave it there. A few years later, people discovered it and built a castle gate<\/strong> to the town around it. In addition to the boat, everyone also gets a life jacket and takes a course in genius. You raft independently.
