CENTRAL SLOVAKIA<\/strong>
\nIn Central Slovakia, you can responsibly and in accordance with the rules of hardening immerse yourself in icy water in the company of Slovensk\u00fdch \u013eadov\u00fdch medve\u010fov Bansk\u00e1 Bystrica – Zvolen<\/a><\/strong>, most often at Moty\u010dky<\/strong> near Donovaly.<\/p>\n

BANSK\u00c1 \u0160TIAVNICA<\/strong>
\nIn Bansk\u00e1 \u0160tiavnica, you can join the Ja\u0161terice zo \u0160tiavnice<\/a><\/strong> or the \u017diarske \u013eadov\u00e9 medvede<\/strong><\/a>. Regularly (twice a week), you will find them testing the temperature in the reservoirs Klinger<\/strong>, Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Vod\u00e1rensk\u00e1<\/strong>, Dolnohodru\u0161sk\u00fd tajch<\/strong>, Ve\u013ek\u00e9 Studensk\u00e9 jazero<\/strong> (called Kolpachy<\/strong> by locals) and Po\u010d\u00favadlo<\/strong>. They also welcome newcomers.<\/p>\n

GRON<\/strong>
\nIn Nov\u00e1 Ba\u0148a, supporters of winter hardening meet within the OZ Novobansk\u00e9 \u013eadov\u00e9 medvede<\/strong>. Every Sunday, you can find them at 2:00 p.m. at the Tajch in Nov\u00e1 Ba\u0148a<\/strong> led by Juraj Kolo\u0161ta<\/strong><\/a>. Every Sunday at 9:00 a.m., you can immerse yourself in icy bliss with the brave members of Pohronsk\u00e9 \u013eadov\u00e9 medvede<\/strong><\/a> at the Bejvo\u010d<\/strong> pond near the village of Lov\u010dica Trub\u00edn<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

GEMER<\/strong>
\nIn Gemer, there are several places that winter swimmers like to visit in winter: near Gombasek Cave<\/strong> (unofficially), by the Boba\u010dka<\/strong> waterfall (Hutn\u00edcky waterfall<\/strong> – a 3 m high waterfall behind the bus stop in Mur\u00e1nska Huta), the Mikov\u00e1<\/strong> reservoir near the Flipper guesthouse in Rev\u00facka Lehota<\/strong>, and the pond in the park of the Betliar<\/strong> manor house. In this region, winter swimming and hardening in nature are practiced by the Sobotsk\u00e9 \u013dadov\u00e9 Medvede<\/a><\/strong>, Tisovsk\u00e9 cenc\u00fale<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 and Rev\u00facke vlo\u010dky<\/strong><\/a>. If you feel like immersing yourself with them in the cold waters of Gemer, check the times and places of the nearest meeting.<\/p>\n

No matter how brave you are when immersing yourself in icy water, be responsible. Find out enough information in advance and do not forget preparatory training before you really head out for swimming in nature in winter. Any experienced ice bear will confirm that.<\/p>\n
