Zvolen – Banská Štiavnica – Kremnica and back
Board the Mining Express and set off with us to the land of silver and gold. The experience train runs along one of the most beautiful railway lines to places where the mining tradition survives to this day: to Banská Štiavnica and Kremnica.
Moments during which you will admire the views of the Štiavnica and Kremnica Hills will be made more enjoyable by performances from actors who will entertain you and also teach you a thing or two.
Besides sweet idleness, your task will also be to guard the treasure that honest people want to deliver safely to the destination station. But beware, treacherous mining gnomes may appear and steal the treasure! Will you manage to protect it?

Trip tips
1. Old Castle
Right in the historic center of Banská Štiavnica, the Old Castle has towered for centuries as a stone chronicle of the town. Its gates are an entrance to the oldest secrets of Štiavnica, which you too can discover.
2. Swimming in a Tajch ,
After walks through history, a pleasant refreshment comes in handy. In the nature around Banská Štiavnica lie the undiscovered treasures of the region, the tajchs. Their crystal-clear water or the diverse environment in which they were created may tempt you.
3. Town Castle
One of the places in Kremnica steeped in history is the hill above the central square, on which the Town Castle rises.
