The one who seeks, finds. If you carefully walk around the village of Podhorie, you will see two tunnels dug into the rock, about 6 and 20 metres long, leading under the courtyard and the cistern of the castle core. But the remnants of my fortifications and towers will not escape the attentive eye either.
They built me in the 13th century and used me only until about the 15th century. I watched over access roads from Zvolen and Kremnica towards Banská Štiavnica. I was not very important or glorious at that time but now I enjoy people´s interest.
